Enjoy a day of family fun during Milner Gardens & Woodlands’ first annual Scarecrow Spectacular.

“We wanted to bring the beauty of fall in the gardens to the forefront with an all-new visitor experience,” said Emily Weeks, Operations Coordinator for Milner Gardens. “Guests are in store for creativity and whimsy in the spirit of fall and Halloween. This is a daytime event, and not intended to be scary. We are excited to offer another opportunity to bring individuals and families together and make holiday memories.”

The Scarecrow Spectacular runs from October 27 to 29 from 11 am to 3 pm, with viewing until 3:30 pm. Everyone attending is encouraged to dress up in costume. Visitors can wander through Scarecrow Lane located in the haunted gardens and vote for their favourite spooktacular scarecrow. And they can enjoy warm, harvest-themed food and beverages.

Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for youth. Children, VIU students (with VIU student ID) and Milner members are admitted for free. The shuttle cart service will be available. The Camellia Tea Room and Milner House are closed during the event.
